I have always been drawn to the world of film and motion pictures. As of late this has become a fun and educational hobby about the Decatur, Illinois community that I love to share with others.  I’m always working on projects which I will be sure to add here once complete.   I am always looking for new and rewarding opportunities through which to grow, so please get in touch with any questions or if you have an interesting project in mind.

About Me

I think that Decatur, Illinois has been a great place to grow up and live.   And learning about people and places of Decatur is just fascinating to me.   Starting with the Levee of East Eldorado where my grandparents had a tavern.

There's just so many people and places of Decatur which are worth of telling their story.   Businesses, teachers, leaders and athletes.  Downtown, Millikin, Kintner Gym, sections of town and important homes and buildings.  So short films are a great way to preserve those stories.

I began volunteering at the Local History Room at the Decatur Public Library and it was immediately apparent to me that there were many people interest in the history of Decatur.   There is a handful of people working to save these stories and old photos, and I salute them.  Efforts like this are worthwhile.   So I plan on continuing to roll out these short films as my contribution to the history and memories of Decatur.
